This was just an experiment to see if I could get multiple MIDI and audio channels playing through different programs and synced under JACK. The experiment succeeded.
MIDI sequencing done with Seq24, guitar track was played through Alsa Modular Synth, MIDI instruments played by ZynAddSubFX and Hydrogen, samples looped in through XMMS, mixdown in Ardour, the damn finest digital audio workstation on. the. planet.
Musically not very well thought through... but maybe that's a good thing. You decide.
